Progress Physiotherapy Services provide complete manual handling courses for new employees as well refresher sessions for existing employees.
We design the content of the manual handling course specific to the industry. Not only do we teach attendees safe manual handling techniques, we also provide them with the background why safe manual handling is essential. We provide examples of poor manual handling techniques and common injuries resulting from poor manual handling. A basic introduction to anatomy and involved structures is also part of the course.
At the end of the training session the attendee will complete an exam and receive a certificate on successful completion of this exam.
