The major muscles that make up the calf are the Gastrocnemius and Soleus.
This program is designed by a Physiotherapist to stretch and strengthen these muscles.
You will need, a towel or a strap, a step, a bench or a chair and some form of weights. Dumbbells work well but you may use a medicine ball, a weight plate or some heavy books to place over your lap for resistance. A foam roller is a great way to alleviate tension in the calf muscle, check out online store if you don't already have one at home.
